Omabranet is a non-governmental organization with a clear and ambitious mission: to provide digital education and knowledge to individuals living in slums and marginalized communities. We believe that access to digital education is a fundamental human right and that everyone, regardless of their circumstances, should have the opportunity to learn and grow.
Our organization was founded by individuals who had personally experienced the transformative power of digital education and were determined to share that power with others who may not have had the same opportunities. Starting with small computer labs in slum areas, we have grown to provide a range of classes that include coding and digital marketing.
However, we have not ignored the fact that providing access to digital education is not enough. Many individuals in the communities we serve face significant challenges, such as limited access to electricity and unreliable internet connections. As a result, we have partnered with local organizations to set up solar-powered computer labs and provide wifi hotspots, addressing these challenges and making digital education accessible to everyone.
Despite the numerous obstacles we have faced, Omabranet has remained steadfast in its mission to provide digital education to those who need it most. We have witnessed firsthand the impact of our work on countless individuals and families, from young children learning to read and write using educational software to entrepreneurs launching successful businesses online.
Today, we continue to expand our reach, working closely with local governments and international organizations to ensure that digital education is accessible to all. Our tireless efforts have shown that access to knowledge and technology can truly transform lives and communities for the better.
